new things.

Our show on Monday with Lindsey, Chris, Thomas, Max, and Ian's new band Thy Mighty Contract is going to be awesome. Their sound is seriously unique. If you missed their first show you should definitely make it out Monday the 17th. It's as if
Blame Game and The Orphins had a demon child with my good friend Lindsey bringing in her classic quiet singing/loud screaming made famous from her last band I Would Set Myself On Fire For You.

We, The Lasch, have an awesome n
ew song for the show too. Plus Stay Fucked and Ski Club? Can't wait. Oh yeah and its free!

Anywho, band practice last night was pretty much the most fun ever. Thunderbox is always a place where mischief and excitement go on --- along with occasionally overhearing awe inspiring bands. All I can say is I cannot wait to see Battlecat's next show.

Also, Mastodon mmmmm. I look forward to seeing them play again, their new stuff that I've heard sounds amazing. (Most of you may or may not know of my love for Mastodon. I've seen them play every chance I get since 2003. I seriously can't get enough.)

On a more serious note, pretty much everything has changed in my life in the past few months. I went from a grad student to a middle school teacher to a newly employed nonprofit worker bee. I enjoy my new job so much. I enjoy playing music with my best friends. I enjoy having time to see my family. Maybe I'll even have more time to blog...
